WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH A.L. BEAUTY TRAINING COURSES?

All courses include

• Professional training by qualified tutors,

• Ability to obtain insurance,
• Ongoing support,
• Some courses include a kit, if  your chosen course does not include a kit, A. L. Beauty Training can offer suggestions of where to purchase or you can order directly from us.

DO YOU DO EVENING AND WEEKEND TRAINING COURSES?

Yes, we offer a variety of days and times to suit every students lifestyle.  We understand it is not always easy to have time away from work and family commitments.

HOW DO I BOOK?

Get in contact with us by email, we will then reply with details of course info, dates available and you can then decide which suits you secure your place.

DO I NEED TO PAY A BOOKING FEE FOR THE COURSE I AM BOOKING ON TO?

Yes, to secure a place on a course, we require a booking fee.  This booking fee is non refundable.  The remaining balance for your course is due 48 hours before your course.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE ATTENDING THE COURSE?

All theory manuals will be emailed to you, you will read and study the manuals before completing course relevant questions prior to the course date.  Depending on the course, a practical demonstration video will be emailed to you so you have some practical knowledge prior to the course date.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE FOR ATTENDING A COURSE WITH A.L. BEAUTY TRAINING?

Yes, we require students be be aged 16 to attend one of our training courses.

WHO CAN BE MY MODEL?

This depends on the course you are enrolling on to.  Certain courses have specific requirements about models.  This information will be included  via a booking email. 

DO I NEED TO PATCH TEST MY MODEL PRIOR TO THE COURSE?

Depending on your chosen course, you may need to patch test your model.  The patch test can be posted to you for convenience, and will include necessary information on how to carry out the patch test.  

DO I NEED A MODEL? 

This is dependent on the course you are enrolling on to, see course details on courses pages.

WHAT CAN I DO IF I CANT GET A MODEL?

Please let us know if you are unable to get a model and we will help to arrange a model.

WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR? 

Salon wear is not required, please wear something you feel comfortable in. 

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?

Depending on your chosen course, you may need to bring a kit.  We recommend you bring a pen and paper to make essential notes and any food or drink you wish to bring. 

DO YOU PROVIDE EQUIPMENT USED DURING THE COURSE?

DO YOU PROVIDE A KIT?

DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

We have three car parks locally, each are free and are conveniently located within a few minutes walk from the training location.  Please see contact us page for location of car parks.  Smithy Lane, Ledsham Road and Chester Road car parks are all open 24 hours and are free and within less than 5 minutes walking distance of the salon.

IS THERE  A BUS OR TRAIN STATION NEAR?

Yes, there is both a train station and bus stops located a few minutes walk from the training location.

HOW DO I BECOME QUALIFIED?

Depending on your course, you will be required to carry out case studies after attending the course.  You can email these to your tutor, after completion your certificate will be sent out to you.  You can then obtain insurance and carry out treatments.  If you wish, join our Facebook support group for ongoing support, details of this group will be sent upon the issue of the certificate.

DO YOU RECOMMEND ANY INSURANCE COMPANIES TO GAIN MY INSURANCE WITH?

Yes, we will provide you with a list of recommended insurance companies.

WILL I RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE?

Yes, once you have completed the course and, if required for your course, completed and sent case studies to your tutor.
